An
Armoire (Cupboard, Wardrobe) was one the first
gifts given by parents to newlyweds. The Armoire was
the only closet of yesteryear. Today the Armoire is
not only found in a Bedroom for storage of clothing,
but may also be found in Family Rooms being used to
house stereo equipment or a television. At Cheriff
Galleries we carry Carved Country Style and gilt bronze
mounted Louis XV, XVI, and Empire Style
Armoires.
