Born in 1810, Ferdinand Barbedienne started to manufacture bronzes in 1838. His awareness to detail and quality work led his firm to be recognized as the finest
bronze foundry. At the height of his success, he employed over three hundred workers and possessed a specialized studio for casting bronze pieces and monuments.          Item #8620.
