Inscribed Papillon De Nuit Par Anglès and signed Anglès on the base.

Joaquim Anglès Cañe (1859–1911) was a French / Spanish sculptor that worked from the late 19th century until his death in 1911.  He is known for his beautiful Art Nouveau bronzes and marbles of women and nature.
