Maison Boudet was an important Parisian retailer located on the boulevard des Capucines from 1886 to 1908, and then on the place Vendôme from 1908 until the First World War. Boudet supplied furniture, bronzes, sculpture and even jewelry and leather goods. Among the furniture makers who worked with Boudet were Zwiener, Linke and Millet, and recent research suggests that the prodigiously talented bronze designer and sculptor Léon Messagé also supplied bronze mounts for the firm.
